I will now present four terrier breeds which are often mixed up, at least in Finland, they are easily mixed up. The dogs have several common features such as a black nose, dark eyes, white colour
with black and tan markings (still over 50% white), small v-like ears and
very similar smooth, broken or rough coats. At one point their tails were
docked.
And yet all these four breeds are different.
- The neck of the smooth fox terrier is longer than the russell's, and their
heads are differently shaped.
- Measurements (height, length of legs and back)
