Roope's Christmas 2005

Joulutorttu

Roope spent the Christmas Eve with his friends Donna and Rina. The family also has a cat called Misu, who doesn’t like Roope at all. This is probably due to the fact that one summer, Roope practised hair plucking with Misu's tail. Therefore, whenever Misu hears Roope's voice, she immediately hides herself. This time, she chose an old arm chair as her hiding place, and she dug herself deep into it. However, somehow Roope noticed that the arm chair made really funny hissing sounds. First, the chair seemed to be quite scary. But then the fear turned into curiosity, and Roope had to search under the chair – and then he even tried to rip off the slipcover of the chair! The exploration went on until Misu decided to drive the intruder away, and swung at Roope with her paw. Luckily, she didn't hit Roope's muzzle. For the rest of the evening, Roope decided that it was best just to watch the interesting chair from a distance.

Roope enjoyed the traditional Finnish Christmas food: ham, casseroles and pastries.
For a Christmas present, he got a pig tail and a chewing bone. Here you can watch the bone video (AVI form, size 3.18 Mb.).

Sleep

At the end of the day, Roope really seemed to enjoy a good night's sleep in his own bed.
